Do not auto-scroll when "removing jargon" or other actions

I love the “remove jargon” button, but I do not love the fact that when applying it to the whole document, it auto-scrolls. That takes me away from my goal: to start reviewing the edits right away. By auto-scrolling, I am forced to wait until the full document has been reviewed, the auto-scroll stops, and only then I am able to go back all the way to the beginning of the document to start my review. In short: do force the not auto-scroll :) Thanks!

Reduce visual noise when reading an article

In any word processor, when I am reading an article I select parts of the content to help guide my eye. In Flex, when I select a paragraph the right sidebar triggers an animation that hides »Ideas« and displays »Selection Actions« making me lose my reading focus. I help myself by hiding the right sidebar, but that makes Flex interactions less accessible

Allow uploading PDFs and other file types (other than images/video)

When writing, I might have documents (google doc, pdf, txt, other) with content I wrote before. It’d be great if I could include / upload those contents as a reference, or even as a way of creating a new article that would be a consolidation of those contents. IRL example: I talked to 20+ experts from a certain industry, researching certain aspects of their experience, and generated a number of documents with my notes and insights from all of those conversations; I’d like to bring all of them to tiptap, so that I can write a number of different articles based on those insights

Folders / Projects (and sub-folders/projects)

One of the main reasons I keep going back to ChatGPT is the ability to create “projects”, which are basically folders with multiple chats around a subject. I wish they also allowed creating sub-folders/projects (e.g., someone working on a large Project XYZ might want to have sub-projects for “X”, “Y”, and “Z” aspects separately.

Flex — Feedback & Issues

1) Comment on Selection forces “Suggestion” mode Steps to reproduce Select any text. Click Add comment. Actual The editor switches to Suggestion mode even when there are no suggestions and no Accept/Reject controls. No comment gets added to the selection. Expected A comment is attached to the selected range. Suggestion mode should not be enabled unless a suggestion is created. 2) “Fix grammar” doesn’t run on selection Steps to reproduce Select any text. Click Fix grammar. Actual Nothing happens. Expected The selected text is rewritten with grammar fixes (or an error is shown if the request fails). 3) “Make more casual” ignores selection and inserts a new paragraph Steps to reproduce Select a single word (e.g., “buggy”). Click Make more casual. Actual A new paragraph is inserted elsewhere. The selected word is unchanged. Expected The selected text is edited in place, respecting the current selection boundaries. 4) “Ideas” UX: long spinner, delayed notebook creation, no feedback Steps to reproduce Click Ideas. Actual A loading spinner appears for a long time. No immediate confirmation that a notebook is being created. Only after waiting does a notebook appear. If I was Inside the other notebook, there’s no clear indicator that new notebook was created from the Ideas click. Expected Immediate feedback (e.g., “Creating notebook…” toast/inline status). Streaming content notebook?

Signup: Label fields accordingly so that pw managers autofill

While creating a Flex account I have to wrestle with my password manager (1PW). The password manager does not automatically recognize it needs to generate a password and enter it in two separate password fields. Expected behavior PW manager is able to detect this is a sign up form PW manager generates a new password PW manager inserts the password into password field PW manager inserts the password into "repeat password” field PW manager saves the new account feat. username and password as a new item

What people like about Obsidian.md for example is the power to use it to keep documents, notes and entities together with Linking & Tags You can see a graph how documents are connected to each other Now imagine having this for documents, ideas but also external resources coming in from third-party resources like notion, JIRA but also Instagram analytics, Google analytics, heck even YouTube Stats / information about my channel and my viewers to write up a script for my latest video that I'm working on A knowledge graph could heavily empower the notes system we have with Flex being able to suggest things like: "Your followers on X repeatedly didn't understand Feature Y, maybe you could go more into detail while explaining it?" "Your last 12 posts about kittens went viral and the writing style was very simple but emotional - how about we keep applying this to the section about Dog puppies?" "You have 8 issues where people complain that your documentation is hard to follow - try to explain how to setup the Tiptap editor in section X" "In your finance dashboard we can see that you finally made it to break-even: How about you include this in your investor update?" "In your last 4 documents you created notes that you want to keep your writing style less strict and more personal, adjust the writing style on your document to the same rules"

Integrations for analytics & distribution

Integration of other services (incoming and outgoing) Imagine how cool it would be if you could hook up different services to bring in more "memory/knowledge" into Flex for different "I am X and ..." style user stories "As a social media manager I want to hook up our Google Analytics, Twitter, Instagram and Tiktok accounts to know more about our follower base, their age, gender, likes and dislikes so we can write better content suited for them"
